The first three spans have been raised on the west: 150 metres of deck are now visible
Today on the west, between Piers 6 and 7, the third 50-metre long span have been raised, together with six side carters, for a total weight of almost 600 tons. Therefore, the first 150 metres of the bridge are now visible.
On the west, Pier 2 is being raised, and work is underway on the plinths of abutment A and Pier 1. On the ground, the assembly of the spans 3-4, 7-8, 8-9 and the carters of the spans 4-5 and 5-6 not yet raised is proceeding.
At the same time, on the east, work is continuing on the raising of Pier 14, and work is being done for the completion of the raising of Piers 15 and 18. Work is also continuing on the construction of Piers 13 and 16, as well as the preparatory activities for the construction of the foundation piles of Pier 17. For the ramp connecting to the A7, the end of the construction of the foundation piles of the abutment A is being concluded, and work is being done on those of Pier 3. On this side, the operations on the ground continue, and the steel segments that will make up the Spans 13-14, 14-15, 15-16 continue to be assembled.
